Directions from Exeter on the A30

Cross the River Tamar, under the A388, then left following signs to Callington. This takes you under the A30, turn immediately right back on to the A30 (towards Exeter). Next left takes you on to the A388 (turn right for Callington). After about 7 miles, turn left at a crossroads signposted to Horsebridge. Continue for nearly 3 miles, through 2 crossroads and 4 other junctions before turning left to Alston. Hampton Manor is less than half a mile on the left.

Directions from Plymouth via Saltash

Through Luckett is the shortest route, but it's easier to go through Callington and Kelly Bray, turning right at crossroads signposted Duchy College. Follow signs to Horsebridge for nearly 3 miles, through 2 crossroads and 4 other junctions before turning left to Alston. Hampton Manor is less than half a mile on the left.

Directions from Tavistock

If you are happy with narrow, twisty lanes, then Chipshop and Horsebridge is the shortest route, turning right to Alston less than 1 mile after the bridge. Otherwise go via Luckett or Kelly Bray.
