Restaurant Wine List
Peel's Restaurant Tuesday to Saturday
The Hampton Manor cellar has come alive since its restoration with a number of young and talented sommeliers pioneering a culture of wine that continues to flourish. A list has emerged that takes guests off the beaten track and champions delicious wines from smaller producers that demonstrate intelligent wine making.
We are currently working with Sam Olive to make our cellars the home of his retail and event business, Wine Freedom. Sam prefers progressive wine makers from around the world that, often but not exclusively, embrace organic and bio-dynamic principles in their wine making. “Back to the future wines” is Sam’s way of communicating how forward thinking wine makers are actually recapturing traditional farming methods that often allow for more expressive fruit and flavour. Ross Morton, our Sommelier, is working with Sam to bring Wine Freedom to the heart of our list.
